Posting this since I genuinely don’t want to be an asshole, but was completely baffled by an interaction today, and I want to make sure my assumptions aren’t totally off. So I’m running very on the left of the bike path as I believe you’re supposed to do, (pedestrians against traffic on left, vehicles towards on right, also the signs at the start say as much), headed towards Bristol, and I see some older bikers fairly down the way coming towards me. They scoot right with plenty of time on what was a pretty empty stretch of road, so I figure nothing to be done, keep going. Eventually one slows down and starts making wild waving motions as they come up, yelling I should be on the right, and they speed off in a huff after I explain my rationale above.

I’m almost positive it’s pedestrians on the left both ways, but am I in the wrong here? I want to do the right thing, so if there’s some weird lane thing where I should be on the right instead headed towards Bristol, I don’t want to be a jerk.
