Most of these places aren't making that much money when times are good and in my opinion they are some of the best places to go in this city. This might not be on the forefront of your mind right now but try and spread out the love. Thank you.
PSA - If you are trying to buy beer and wine don't buy it at the grocery store instead check to see if your local bottle shop is still open first. Grocery stores are having record sales while your local bottle shop might be struggling.
Lol dead drops
I dropped $100 at Boneyard yesterday. So like 3 crowlers /s
But seriously - once Shelter in Place goes into effect they're even more screwed. So stock up now and try and help ease the sting they're all feeling.
Yup, that hammer is about to drop any day now
I know wineries are doing this too.
Rogue is selling cases and kegs today.
Mom & Pop Wine Shop on Sandy Blvd. is doing pick ups at the shop and free deliveries if you are in the neighborhood. This is an awesome local shop that specializes in bottles under $20. The couple that own the shop live in the neighborhood and are wonderful people. Please consider supporting this local business.
Second this. Amazing bottle shop and owners. Lots of local wines to choose from.
Orders are being taken online. Fill your cart and select delivery or pick up.
Breakside has 20% off all beer and 30% off if you lost your job
They're...they're just great at everything.
If you lost your job it's probably best not to spend your money on alcohol.
I think you forgot your /s
Went to my neighborhood corner store and he said business is up 40%. With everyone home and out of work and bars closed he's getting slammed.
From a Hollywood Beverage employee, yesterday, "It's like Groundhog Day of the day before Thanksgiving."
I'm going to give a shout out to a few places near where I live in N/NE. Ale Fire on N Williams (bought beer and hot sauce there yesterday), 1856 on Prescott, Prospect on Killingsworth, and Bridgetown Beerhouse on Mississippi.
All small shops that could use your business. Buy a bottle or some beer to go.
New School Beer is curating and updating a list of places that deliver, including bars, restaurants, breweries, and bottle shops.

Love Bridgetown! Hours are 2-8 at last check.
Bridgetown beerhouse and AleFire, good buddies with all the folks there! Please support them!
third-ing bridgetown beerhouse!
Also go out and support your local taprooms. Many of them are doing crowler fills to go.
LEV∃L BEER is generously offering 25% off packaged goods and $5 crowler fills for take out at both locations.
You can order online and pickup for maximum safe distancing.
$5 crowlers is a crazy good deal.
Baerlic will deliver beer to you- can’t beat that!
As a sucker for the hazy IPAs, do you have a suggestion or two on their current menu? I haven't been in there in quite a while, despite it being near by
I really like Futureisms, it's a hazy double IPA.
Punk Rock Time's great but it's a west coast.
Hey, more Punk Rock Time for me!
Beer store in downtown Milwaukie is still open for carry out.
I love the Beer Store. On a normal week I'd be headed there after work today.
Shout out for Park Avenue Fine Wines, downtown on SW Park and SW Morrison. Good stuff, great people.
second that! really fantastic service the time I went, great wine, and inventive dishes. the savory churros were some of the best things I've ever eaten.
Chef Karl is uh-maze-ing. Super nice person too!
Was about to come mention this. These guys are great!!
I’ve been home this week doing massive yard work, so beer intake is at an all time high. Can’t decide if I’m showing symptoms or just hung over
I’m there with you.
“My throat hurts”
“That’s cuz you just smoked a ton of weed,.”
too true and too funny
Portland's oldest urban winery, [Hip Chicks Do Wine](www.hipchicksdowine.com) is not only having bulk sales but are offering delivery to PDX AND suburbs! Please help support these gals!
Big shout out to Look Long brewing! They’re a small local brewery on N Interstate and Rosa Parks (they share a building with the Homebrew exchange). They have excellent beers and I know they could really use the business right now. I believe they’re doing delivery and pickup!
They're half off Growlers now!
Good point. I did read that Belmont Station is closed.
This makes me sad, but my bank account is finally able to recover.
They re-opened today. Store side only, from 12-8 every day.
Oh! Nice!
I actually did this last night for Stickman's Brewery. I gotta 32 oz. can along with one of their awesome pizzas!
Love this post! if you live in St. Johns, Stormbreaker had some flyers out about beer deliveries in the neighborhood. Additionally, Leisure started doing growler fills yesterday.
Our community was hit hard with a lot business closures last year and earlier this year and I hope those who are able to spend money on beer/wine at this time will consider buying from them vs our neighborhood Freddy's/Safeway for now.
Mom and pop convenience stores, too! Not only are you supporting a local small business, but you have contact with only 1-2 people instead of an entire grocery store full of people.
Or, in-between, there are neighborhood grocery stores, too, like Bread & Roses on Foster. It's also conveniently next to a bottle shop (N.W.I.P.A.).
Imperial is doing deliveries. If you want to brew your own, FH Steinbart is doing free deliveries in the immediate area (list of zip codes on their facebook page.)
I got a delivery from Steinbart yesterday. Arrived about 4 hours after I placed the order online. Fantastic!
Pairings Portland Wine Shop is doing deliveries! You can call them at 541-531-7653 great longtime local wine business

i’ll throw in the lovely people over at Ardor Natural Wines on Belmont! curbside pick-up, plenty of bottles under $20 and some of the most delicious wines i’ve ever had, if you’re interested in trying something new.
Yeah! Shout-out to my boy Victor who owns this shop! Coolest dude ever! He does not sell yo momma's Merlot - if you think wine is stodgy and boring he'll find you some cool weird shit that will change your mind!
victor is one of my favorite people! picked up a couple bottles yesterday, i basically just let him pick what i’m gonna drink and am never disappointed. he’s doing good things in portland with ardor
Breakside on dekum is selling 6 dollar crowlers...
Try StormbreakerBrewing.com, they just added a delivery shopping cart to their website. They have a couple locations on Mississippi and in St Johns
Also, restaurants are starting to pick up off premise licenses. Please support your local restaurants!!
Anyone local make vodka?
New Deal Distillery, a couple of blocks north of the Burgerville on SE Hawthorne and 12th. Their Portland 90 Vodka is one of my favorites (although their New Deal Vodka, not so much). They have a chocolate vodka that's pretty good, too, if you're into that sort of thing. Their FB says their tasting room is open for bottle sales.
Eastside Distilling is also near there, they do the Portland Potato Vodka, which I can't speak to. I'm sure it's fine.
The Portland Potato Vodka just might be one of the smoothest vodkas I've ever tasted and it was only $13.95 for 750ml. I'm not a connoisseur and I'm sure I might have just said something blasphemous to vodka drinkers but I loved it
I'll have to give it a try sometime, then. The Portland 90 is more like $20, but it is also 90 proof and certainly better than more expensive vodkas I've tried.
Shine Distillery on N Williams. They are also giving away hand sanitizer that they make with every purchase
Hey OP, please consider adding this to your top post. New School Beer is curating and updating a list of places that deliver, including bars, restaurants, breweries, and bottle shops.
https://www.newschoolbeer.com/2020/03/complete-list-of-home-beer-delivery-options-in-oregon.html
sounds like a great idea.
I'll get it in there!
I work at a local big box grocery store and we are doing about 6X the normal sales around open, then tapering off through the day.
Crazy stuff
I got a delivery from COFFEEBEER yesterday at work. The co-owner owns the plant shop next door (Citrine Bloom) so you can combine your beer (and vegan baked goods/coffee) delivery with a plant delivery too. Their beer list is online and the plants are on the store's Instagram page. Nothing like getting a call from the receptionist to pick up your beer and plants at the front desk.
I dig that shop, they stock some great beers. Nice people, too.
Vanguard Brewing is a great brewery that is delivering beer to anywhere within a ten mile radius of their facility. Hard working family. The head brewer still has a main job. They make great beer. Go get the LPR or the Good Day IPA.
Portland Bottle shop in sellwood is still doing takeout
Any breweries doing deliveries in the city?
Lots of them. New School Beer is curating a list and updating it frequently.
https://www.newschoolbeer.com/2020/03/complete-list-of-home-beer-delivery-options-in-oregon.html
Cooper's Hall has insanely low prices right now. Plus they use recycled and reusable bottles so it's good for the environment.
Can't stress this enough. My little spot (Sawyers on 60th/Flavel) has a freakishly good selection for a random corner store.
Just ordered through Little Beast on Division for delivery tomorrow!
To piggy back off of this, try to shop local over Amazon if you can! Local shops are all struggling right now. I know it's easier to shop online and go to amazon, but they're coffers are already well lined. I've gotten emails and seen posts from Portland icons from businesses like Powell's to Pip's. Let's do our part to keep them alive!
Yes please spread to more locations and people please. Think of the community!
Liquor stores don’t have wine I believe?
All of the ones I've gone to do.
Oh got it, maybe it's just some that don't.
Lombard house is doing same-day delivery. I can't remember the pricing but it's pretty rad.
Brian decided to stop all services including delivery yesterday. He plans to reevaluate on April 1st.
Gm Mart. Love him
If only my local bottle shop sold me an $8/bottle decent Spanish table wine with a 20% case discount like New Seasons does.
Bottle shops carry 6-12 packs at most. Grocery stores have full cases.
Just buy multiple 6 packs?
If you are buying full cases of beer, then you are not likely a bottle shop's target customer.
Not gonna drop $500 on enough beer to get me through 2 weeks. Especially when your job is in jeopardy.
Really missing the point there bud.
My alcoholism detector says your local bottle shop isn't struggling. I'm more concerned about people in recovery.
Breweries are rolling out no contact pickups and/or delivery as well
