I'm glad you stopped the kid. It stinks that a lot aren't educated, but I guess since you live in Hoenn it's not completely unfair since Mimikyu aren't native. It's still extremely rude to try to take something from someone so, I don't like that, but I'm glad you stopped him!
Timed Torture: HAHAHAHAHAA! Clearly you've never seen a kid on a random route with their parent's Pokemon. Those guys are 7, AT MOST. There are so many that it's A Trainer Class. Like a Hiker, or a Scout, if you don't understand what I mean.
Like, I had a Pokémon when I was 4. Is that unbelievably young? Yes.
Did my parents also basically watch every single little action I did at that age just to be safe? Absolutely, and it's gotten me out of doing very stupid little kid things
Sometimes I feel like Rei is still a kid. Not physically, but mentally. And yes, he is prone to stupid mistakes like these. I saw him try to pull a push door.
Yea there is a reason that in order to be allowed anything related to gyms there are competency and intelligence tests and this is one of them. might seem a bit weird to say but more referring to the children that prove themselves to be competent to be around pokemon for example Tate and Lisa who run the psychic type gym in mossdeep city and are both children. compared to that child who tried to take a mimikyu's costume
They should just be Pokemon owners, I know how it's like to be a kid with the only one to turn to being a pokemon- but it's still dangerous for children to go outside on their own. I feel like letting children have 1 or two pokemon, but not letting them explore is better.
And doesn't it sometimes work that Mimikyu only gives nightmares to people it doesn't like? In other words, if a friendly person looks inside, nothing will happen to them.
My dad has a mimikyu as well and you wouldn’t believe how many times he had to tell off kids not to under the cloth. Also: here she is spectre(pic: a smaller than average mimikyu cuddling with an eevee)
Honestly, Mimikyu is not the only pokemon that should have warnings for young children about. I'm glad that OP Mimikyu is okay, but it does reemphasize why we should have classes as early as elementary school on which pokemon that are dangerous for children but they LOOK harmless. Drifloon being the first that comes to my mind.
Its worse, because some of these pokemon are just as young as they children, so the child gets traumatized and the Pokemon does as well.
Flare: Oh sweet merciful arc I'm glad you stopped that, poor kid would've been traumatized at minimum
