One free message a day on POF, would you say it’s a good thing

I mean I think it’s a good thing myself. A lot of predators are on POF. If all men could message for free on there, a lot of women would be receiving unwanted sexual or abusive messages. So only one message a day limit is good, don’t you think?

If they are really desperate to talk to a woman then they pay up and take advantage of that one free woman.

It seems that all the men are upset that they can’t send more than one free message a day. Obviously they don’t understand a woman’s side of view.

You need to ask all the women on POF if they want men to message them for free. They’d all refuse. We don’t need to face sexual harassment on these apps.

One guys harassment I faced (I never even messaged him nor replied back)

First guy:

Guy 5: “Hey I’m in London… come over”

Guy 6: “Yooo sexy”

Guy 7: “yummy 😋”

Guy 8: “your cute, but can you fit it in your mouth”

Guy 9: “wanna ride my face”

I mean imagine how it would have been like if all men could massage women for free. Disaster 💩

Tricky one,. I agree about the predators, but i think it would be more effective if we could just report them instead and have them block. It sucks for the typcial guy experience.

One out of 25-30 girl will bother answering. So guys dont really stay unless they paid. But then who in the right mind would pay with so many bot/fake girls to scam you.

In the end its a vicious circle

About 95% of men on POF are sexual predators. This is coming from my experience as a woman. I’d say only 1 in 20 men are “good guys”

Your statistics are born of an entitled mind. I get the feeling that you impose a lot of false opinions on others as facts. Men will be lucky if we wake up one day and see a match, or even a first message from a girl and typically it usually comes from someone we're not interested in. While you have options to actually complain about. Sure we don't want you receiving hateful messages but you gotta come to an understanding that Everytime POF gets a complaint, it only becomes a more one sided app. You will not see any good men because you ran them off, when the app became catered to your hurt feelings.

I know this is going to aggravate you a bit, but hear me out first. Girls typically swipe on top 10% of men only. Id be willing to bet that “95%” your talking about is within that 10% only.

Lets think about it. A guys that easily can have access to all girls might act a bit like a “f-boy” and the rest of them are probably scammers yes. Scammers are kind of smart if i had to guess they probably know how girls “swipe”

Your also saying “i didnt want that message in my inbox in the first place..”. Are you saying we insult you just addressing to you?!

Block the people that are mean. Wierd, and that stuff, but dont be annoyed we “spoke to you once” if it was nice. Thats the only one message we get a day.. not 2 message. But one. no girls are dm us.

I had my account frozen for 72 hours just because I sent a message that simply said. "A single rose speaks volumes, and I'm saving one just for you." "I hope to hear back from you, but if not, I wish you the best of luck in your search here on POF." Did I state anything offensive? In my opinion, I didn't, yet POF said I did, go figure. And yes, I myself am still searching after what seems like an eternity, but most women that I'd like to contact have their messaging disabled. Geeze Louise, I'm just a simple guy who's looking for a simple woman. By the looks of it, one doesn't exist. BTW, I'm a father and a grandfather who was raised properly and knows the difference between right and wrong.

I receive messages everyday from men saying “Hey sexy” “I’d lick you, I’d suck your p6ssy” I mean it’s literally like a playground of desperate men on there

I also get messages like “yummy” or “looking very tasty” like I don’t wanna see that either

You haven’t sent anything inappropriate but because of what other guys say I think they put you into that category

OMG. I'm sorry you're receiving those kinds of messages. It's totally not what you're expecting to read from a perfect stranger. Never in a million years would I even text something like that. Here, or anywhere else for that matter. I, for one, know better. My father was a gentleman, and so am I. He raised me well. Things like that are supposed to be said once you get to know a person, and even then, only if the situation warrants it. On behalf of all the "good" sensible men out there, I apologize. You can block anyone you want to and you don't even have to bother with a first response because your inbox is lined with guys shooting their one message shot. You get to pick and choose. I’d disagree. For most guys that don’t get many matches if any at all. There is no guarantee at 1 free message would result in her messaging back. Besides POF is full of scammers and bots now.

Because it’s hard enough with being sent inappropriate messages with one free message but when all men can message as many times as they want our inboxes will be jammed up. I had one guy constantly message me one after another, I’m assuming he paid. All the messages were sexual. When I ignored them and didn’t reply he responded “sl@g” So guys will even pay just to sexually harass a woman too

Internet is a place of troll, I dont want you to have to deal with this, but also you MUST realize that not “all” mans are like that in fact almost none of us on there with the premise of dating are not like that.

You need to actually understand that. And that you having to deal with this is frustrating to us because aswell as then when i go and i just start with “Hey”. Is not good enough, then you want to do those “pickup line” that i hate doing just to “hope” you chances of having an answer is higher. And we still dont get an answer.

You must understand that mens on here complaining that they get 1 “like” a week is literal. Its not us trying to make it seams worst than it is. Its literally what it is. I don't think it's necessarily a good thing. I've never had problems meeting women on the app however It's got all more difficult than before but then that's where the fun is I guess. Its all in chase while trying to remain respectful of women's boundaries. I'm guessing the guys with no luck become frustrated and tend to be more pushy and flagrant.
