When you are discussing a movie or a TV show, there's always a wise ass who says this annoying phrase, when someone is providing an elaborate response as to why they dislike a certain character or something like that. This is something that mostly happens on the internet.
I mean, yes, Fred, I know it's only a TV show, but we are in a goddamn Facebook group for people who want to express and exchange opinions about said show. And if I want to go on and on about how much I hate the way Carol and Susan implied that the baby shouldn't have Ross' last name, I think this is the right place to do it. I know they're not real people and when I go to bed, I don't think about those characters and their outrageous actions. I swear, I know it's all fiction and I actually don't have anything against the cast members 🙄
