This is 7s. In 15s, the team holding up the player would be rewarded possession of the ball and a foul after a few seconds of holding him up. In 7s, you can hold up the opponent forever so long as his knees don’t touch the ground (otherwise they must release him and he must release the ball so players from both teams would contest over possession.) usually this ends by yanking the ball out like they did here because they are Kenyan monsters, or more likely they would drive him out of bounds and be given a throw in of some sort to restart play.
So an eternal atomic wedgie is legal? What a ridiculous sport.
By this logic, which sport isn’t? Rugby is a contact sport, much like wrestling, where might find your face inside someone’s crotch, is.
I mean they appear to be crushing his nuts, but maybe they’re well protected
