What a knuckle-headed reply. Enevitably, old teams will fall to the younger teams eventually. It is obviously bold to predict the Sens to win the Atlantic next year, but that is why it is a bold take. It isn't even unprecedented, the Devils made a similar jump last year. Not sure if you think the best teams stay the best forever, but I'd suggest you take a look at the standings over the past decade or two and you'll see teams often fall and rise quite rapidly.
