This morning I read a recent Emerson College poll in which they worked with the Midwest Review. The premise was pretty simple they asked people in the traditional Midwest and surrounding states if their state was in the Midwest. There were some surprising results like the majority of Oklahomans believing they were in the Midwest and 25.2% of those in Idaho feeling the same. Out of the traditional Midwest states Ohio was the lowest with 78.2% saying they were in the Midwest. The only other state not in the 90 percentile was Michigan.
While many in Iowa feel like Ohio is more of an Eastern state I am not sure how much of that is simple bias and how much is how far removed from us it is. Which region do you feel Ohio belongs in. Not looking for any debates just opinions to check against that poll.
