I'm from a Southeast Asian country. Most tall adults are only as tall as my shoulders. I'm always the center of attention wherever I go, and it feels very awkward. Many people say I look like a Westerner. Will I fit in better if I visit a Western country?
P/S: 6'4 ~ 1m94.
At 6'4" in North America you will almost always be the tallest person in the room, but there will be plenty of people around 6' tall so you won't look that big.
Unless you go skiing, then you'll probably run into a bunch of other tall people.

Not like basketball is, but it attracts rich WASPy types and Norweigans (that are both tall on average).

I'm 6'4" in the US. I'm definitely considered tall, and I rarely run into people too much taller, but it seems like there are a lot of people within an inch or two of my height. I never really feel like I stand out too much in a crowd.

I'm 6 ft 4 woman and i get awkward stares constantly and I live in a western country, although it might be my 6 ft 11 husband, or the kids. point is, people will be awkward wherever you go.
I’m 6’6” and I live in Canada. People don’t gawk at me, I’ve had the odd random stranger ask me how tall I am or if I play basketball or whatever, but I don’t feel like a freak
6'4" is tall in Western countries, too.
People might remark on your height or ask you if you play basketball but that's not "OMG look at that guy" height in Western countries.
The average height in the US and UK for a man is 5'9, so still extremely tall. The tallest country in the world, the netherlands, is 6ft, so even there you're tall.
That's still fairly tall for most places in the west.
5'10 is the average male height. People at 6 feet tall get hit with "you seem a bit tall", 6'4 would tower over most.
This is somewhat generational, though; younger generations skew taller. People only a little younger than me have told me that anything under 6ft is "short".

I'm 6'4 living in Boston, USA. I'm usually the tallest person in the room. I've always been close to the tallest person in a group. However, I think that when you are 6'6 or taller, then you start to become freakishly tall. 6'4 is not freakishly tall. Many women think 6'4 is an ideal height for a partner, which is cool.
Still taller than average, but you won't really stand out or get significant attention for being 6'4" in western countries. You'll blend in easier if that's what you're going for.
French here. It's tall, but not "wow, look at this guy" tall. I won't think twice about them after crossing path with a stranger that size in the street. It's not tall enough to really gather attention. But you're still going to be the tallest person in the room most of the time.
It’s like 5% of the us population. I’m 6’2 and see guys as tall as me regularly so maybe we are just growing
6’4” is tall but you wouldn’t stand out that much.
Im Irish and 6'1. 6'4 is tall, but not a freak show here, you would want to be 6'7 or more for people to point at you. If you went to Denmark or the Netherlands, 6'4 is probably a little over average.

6:4 is significantly tall just about anywhere but the likelihood that you would be ostracized for being that tall in America or most other countries isn't very good at all.
It’s tall, but at the high end of normal. It’s not outlandish until you get to probably 6’5” or 6’6”
You are my hight. I live among the tallest people: the Dutch. You would be tall but not tall enoigh that you'd stand out
A 6’4” person is 6’4” tall in western countries and every country for that matter ;)
I’m 6’2” live in America. I’ve literally never had anyone comment on my height. I don’t start noticing someone as being “tall” until over 6’4”.
99% of the time you’re the tallest guy in the room. Unless you’re at a basketball or volleyball event you’d be the tallest woman in the room every time.
It’s not freakishly tall, no one will stare because of your height, but you’re going to be noticeably taller than the crowd.
You would be like top 2% in height here in America. Very tall but nothing super unusual. You certainly wouldn’t feel like Goliath like you might at home, but you are definitely tall.

I'm a little over 6'4", and I get pushed up to nearly 6'6" in my work boots. I don't have too many folks point out my height, but my spouse has told me she occasionally catches an odd angle or me next to other people and thinks, "Damn, I forget how tall he is". You tend to blend in with your common traffic areas.
I'm German and it's still very tall. You get comments, seem more threatening (as a man), and will come to find that most seats or spaces aren't made for you. :D

I'm about 6'3 (1m90) and taller than most men in the UK where I'm from but nobody is ever surprised by my height nor is it something anyone would comment on or pay attention to.
That is tall but not out of the ordinary. You’d be among other people around your height.
I’m 5’10 and two of my closest friends are both 6’4”.
I’m 38 years old and am pretty use to it now. When us three all go out together somewhere I do kind of feel like a kid walking around with his two dads though.

as a 6'4 Dutch person, I'm noticably tall but not crazy tall.
In the US I think you'd still be in the top 2-3% of males but not so out of place that you'd get stares.
In balkans you would be tall but not gigantic
I moved from the Mid-Atlantic (US) to southern New Hampshire and worked in a high school. I couldn't believe how tall so many of the kids were. Turns out there is a large Finish population there, and apparently, they growing 'em big. I kind of felt bad for the French Canadian population, as they're definitely a lot shorter.
That is above average in every country on earth, by a few inches at that so yeah you’d still be tall. You wouldn’t be stared at tho, 6’4 is tall but it’s not really rare.

Factually untrue. The US uses imperial units and Canada is a weird mixture of imperial and metric.
Very tall. No you wont fit in better, we have a fair share of tall westerners but no tall Asians pretty much.

It's not common at all. 0.7% of men is taller than that. 2.67% is taller than 6'3".
6'4" would still be considered quite tall. But maybe wouldn't get as many states or gawking.
Regardless, fitting in has a lot more to do with how you act.
