The Bee and Naruto that squared off against Edo Itachi and Edo Nagato.
Rules: No access to Edo Tensei. Naruto and Bee are going for the kill. No intel.
R1: Takes place where Sasuke and Itachi fought Kabuto.
R2: Takes place where Naruto and Bee fought Nagato and Itachi.
We are 100% on the same page when it comes to Obito not wanting Madara to be revived.
The issue is both of them were ready to fight each other in both situations but didn't want to. Obito being prepared to fight vs Kabuto there doesn't give him the advantage same as Kabuto preparing to fight vs Rinnegan Obito. They both were on the back foot so just saying "he was going to face off against Kabuto and you know it" doesn't mean he would win. I don't think Obito even thinks he would win since he already expressed his concerns with Itachi previously.
Obito might not have been scared of dying there but that is by no means a winning fight for him vs SM Kabuto, Itachi, and Nagato. Madara was moreso used as an "I know your secret" sorta threat there imho.

It’s in character for both Kabuto and Obito not to engage in combat when they don’t have to or feel like they don’t wanna & none of akat nor Kabuto scales to Obito’s combat speed who can counter blitz kcm2 Naruto, they all get blitzed instantly & if somehow Obito gets tagged( wait is it Opposite Day?) he has 10 full minutes of immortality
That scaling is inconsistent because EMS Sasuke is relative to KCM2 and he was getting carried in their fight by Itachi. In a 1v1 Kabuto would have blitzed that very same EMS Sasuke (the same way he caught them both with the flash bang). The gap in their stats are not as big as you might want them to be.
If you don't want that example then the same KB that was with Naruto pre KCM1, KCM1, and KCM2 was still keeping up the whole time.
So no Obito doesn't speed blitz 1 tap. Especially not people with sage mode and EMS. He could be faster but not tiers above.
You’re wrong that the scaling is inconsistent, you forgot all parties were holding back which means they would all be relative in stats to the bare minimum + early ems Sasuke is not the same as jubbito fight or end of series Sasuke
If you want to say all parties were holding back then why also say that it wasn't the same Sasuke? Obviously, end of series Sasuke got multiple So6P buffs tho.
I'm not saying WA scaling itself is inconsistent but just the way you are adding stat gaps where there aren't any is. Like how do we know that Edo Itachi also couldn't keep up with KCM2 when they were having a conversation while fighting when he was KCM1 (without MS active)? Itachi could have been much faster than Naruto too but he didn't want to kill him. And better yet, Kabuto wanted to capture them as well to hold over Obito, so that same Nagato and Itachi were holding back there too.
Bad analogy , focus on the topic at hand, early ems sasuke even holding back was not on that lvl later on, everyone were constantly getting stronger towards the end not just sasuke, you implying that he is that same is Ludacris
Sasuke is one of the only ones that actually doesn't have much, if anything, to imply he has gotten stronger since then because he wasn't involved in anything else until meeting up with Naruto (unless you think he got an amp from talking with the Kage which I can't argue for or against).
Now he, along with Kabuto and Itachi were all holding back. But holding back abilities also isn't the same as holding back in strength or speed. My only point is we have no reason to believe Sasuke got any stronger since then, unless it was mentioned or inferred at some instance.
Sasuke had multiple mental amps since the Kabuto fight , by default he is stronger than the version that fought along side itachi
Can you please provide the chapter or screenshot of an instance you are referring to? I didn't recall there being any but I'm not perfect by any means.
The only thing that comes to mind is Sasuke changing his mind about destroying the leaf and instead wants to make the world hate him. And I'm not sure if I would label that as a mental amp more so than just a change of target.
