My first boyfriend was Qi but now my boyfriend is Owen. I'm thinking I still want to date Pablo but I feel like no matter what I'll end up marrying Unsuur. Is that weird? I'm testing the waters but Unsuur's character is so unique and appealing. When I first started the game I thought I would marry Owen no matter what but after getting to know their personalities, Unsuur seems like my number one.

Depends on if it's my first playthrough or not. Usually my first one I'll date around, but any subsequent playthroughs are made for specific characters.

I was totally like that haha. I was like "Okay well, I really want to date Logan, but Fang's story is getting interesting..." And then "Goodbye Logan, Fang my beloved<3" I just made a whole new character for Logan lol

I mean, I picked Fang over Logan and even my second character, I thought his romance wasn't as deep as Fang's, but Fang also had a lot of emotional stuff that just made a huge impact. Logan's romance was top tier sweet though! My heart fluttered.
I was casually romancing logan while working on Fang and just got Logans confession scene today after the imposter cave and not only did my jaw drop bc I did not expect it, I was kicking my feet like a teenage girl giggling 😅

My only complaint with Owen is there's like no romance options, I personally donated my camera before unlocking camera mode so I was doomed to make him my BFF and hope he would accept my love knot. As much as he's very attractive, I feel like I designed my character in a way that doesn't mesh well with him.
I think there's really only the one option to express your interest in him too. I only recall getting the heart option when you find his friend in the desert.
I feel like he's got a past as a reformed ladies man, and now he's looking for love.
I married Owen in my first play through and ended up divorcing him for Fang. He's a missed opportunity.
I have multiple saves named with characters I'd like to romance, there's too many and I don't want to reply the game for all of them. I know i could date a few at a time but I don't have the heart to hurt digital hearts.

I dated almost every character at the same time then picked someone to marry (Logan lol). I made myself break up with everyone personally and even purposely got caught by Catori on a date once. Chaos but it was fun haha.
I can't do this in games where there's repercussions. I did it in stardew valley before the patch that made them jealous because I wanted to see everyone's heart events. In games where you can get caught or jealousy events, etc, I just pick one person and stick to it.
There’s only one man for me and that’s Logan.
I tend to befriend all the bachelors I like - in my case, Owen, Fang and Logan - so I can see how their characters develop and who I like best before I decide who to give the heart knot to. At that point, I will usually also create a split save file so I can romance the others later if I want to without putting in another 40+ hours, lol.

I knew I wanted to marry Fang. It felt like it took forever though. But I am enjoying him. He’s very sweet.
I planned on dating around and started with Unsuur and Qi… but I accidentally ran into one of them while on a date and stopped at just two.
I came straight from Portia so when I started the game and started meeting everyone, I was already picking out my future husband- picked Qi, was eyeing Fang, then got further into the story and was wondering if Logan would even be an option. I'm still on my first playthrough and got Qi's confession, but ended up breaking up with Qi to go for Fang and I'm thiiis close to finally marrying him, but I can't wait to do separate playthroughs to marry Logan, Qi and Unsuur.

I commented on their youtube trailer of him doing something dastardly begging for him to be romanceable and they basically commented back “maybe” 🤣 was so stoked when he was confirmed and i think it’s funny we have the same name when it comes to cutscenes and newspapers

I'll know who I marry right away except a couple of games. One example was when I played Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I heard Garrus was a fan favorite but when I met Kaidan, my Shep went with him. ❤️ Another game I am torn as of today is Coral Island. For My Time At Sandrock, Logan almost got me, but Fang won in the end.

Generally speaking, I pick one person and stick with them, one per playthrough. I’ve done that in every game with romance options before. However… on my second playthrough of Sandrock… it occurred to me that I don’t really want to dump 150+ hours into another save for every single person I’m curious about (I can get through Dragon Age Inquisition faster ffs), so I downloaded the lovers mod and am currently dating half the town whilst trying desperately not to feel heinously guilty since I was originally just going to marry Fang on this save.
(I’m kind of failing, I’m feeling heinously guilty)
Oh and a tip: Unless it changes once you get to max hearts, Pablo is sorely unromantic. Compared to someone like Owen who’s trying to charm you with every chat line, Pablo’s just like well if I wander off I’ll trust distance to make the heart grow fonder and that’s about the most romantic thing he’s said. You can probably safely skip him lol
On my first playthrough, I usually just let the romances happen. I was patiently waiting for Logan to appear... but Qi has stolen my heart and won't give it back. So I guess that's that for this run lol.

I started with Venti cause her story was sad and I wanted to hug her. But she was locked mostly behind a literal paywall (the salvage yard) so I couldn't visit as often. My second choice was Mi-an cause it felt kinda natural. Working along side each other, building on and repairing the town, lots of time bonding with constructing. So, yea.
I'm not dating anyone else until I marry Fang.
For 3 out of my 4 runs I specifically chose a love interest and stuck with it

I dated Qi, Unsuur, and Arvio for a while then broke up with all three the day I can finally interact with Logan lol. Now I have two main saves, one married to Logan and another to Fang.
Since I started playing I knew I wanted to marry Logan, but then Unsuur and Arlo asked me and I felt bad saying no so I got two boyfriends at the same time 😭 and then I started dating Qi too! I also thought of maybe date Owen and Fang, which I did went out with them a few times, so I guess I started to date around a lil bit while I was waiting for Logan. After Logan arrived it just loved the character so much I broke up with those 3 the same day.
Typically when I play these types of games I get relationahip points with everyone and get a feel for their personalities before choosing who I'll marry. I'll usually have a few stand outs before after looking at the romancable character list but usually I don't actually decide until I'm in the game.
Not this one... I took a singular look at Fang and said "Yhat's him, that's the one."
I... Have a thing for beautiful boys with long hair... And I love birds. And I enjoy a challenge when it comes to romancing characters.

If I were to do another play through of the game, though, I might do a Pen into Logan romance run. Pen because of how completely and hilariously unhinged he is and Logan because from what I've seen of his story stuff seems cute. There are a lot of charming characters in this game, though.

Logan is the only one that seems to come at the right time and fang also, bc it takes a while to date him.

Lol I see that. I personally only choose romance options with the men (except Burgess and Miguel) But I also choose romance options with Grace. Not sure why but she seems cool.
I typically romance at the end of the game. I'm not really big on the romance part of these games but I do it just to see what it's like. I romanced Logan after and sort of regretted it. I felt a little overwhelmed tending to him, my workshop/commissions, and missions. I also didn't like that he kept trying to hold my hand if there was a mission that he was part of (and getting in the way and nearly getting me killed!).
That being said, it's very hard not do it again. I do so love that particular mission. I'm resisting because I want to see all his dialogue as a friend.
I'm holding off on Owen till he gets his romance update.
