In comes Andie Anderson who, in turn, is writing a story on how to lose a guy in 10 days as a bet with her boss to be allowed to write more substantial stories. With a hidden agenda in each camp, will either party be able to complete their mission?”

Killers: “A vacationing woman meets her ideal man, leading to a swift marriage. Back at home, however, their idyllic life is upset when they discover their neighbors could be assassins who have been contracted to kill the couple.”

He’s just not into you: The summary for this movie doesn’t do it justice, but it basically follows more than one relationship that are all interconnected. It’s a romantic comedy, I will say not everyone ends up together though.

She’s the man: “When Viola learns her soccer team is no more, she wants to join the boys team. The coach says no, so she dresses up like her brother Sebastian, and goes to his school for two weeks and pretends to be him. Her roommate Duke also plays soccer, and has a serious crush on a girl named Olivia. Olivia likes Sebastian, who is really Viola who really likes Duke. When Sebastian comes home, everything gets complicated!”

She’s all that: “High school favourite Zach Siler is dumped by his prom queen shoe-in girlfriend for some slimey TV soap star. On the rebound he takes a bet from his best friend that he can take up with mousey bespectacled Laney Boggs and get her voted prom queen instead. Great friend, impossible task. Though once Laney scraps her glasses, does her hair, and gets into decent rags, Zach finds himself taking rather a lot of notice of her.”

Say Anything for sure -- the male lead is based on a person the writer actually knew so he's 3 dimensional (& the main character!)and Siskel & Ebert gave it 2 thumbs up calling it proof that teen movies don't have to be trash.  If you want something more nontraditional you can't go wrong with the Farrelly Brothers -- either There's Something About Mary or Fever Pitch.

Supporting cast is walled out with comedy powerhouses and the whole thing is devised by the people responsible for The State and Wet Hot American Summer.
