Bought Grivel G-12 crampons second-hand and they came without anti-balling plates. Is this strange?

I was under the impression that Grivel has been selling all their crampons with anti-balling plates for decades now. Am I wrong?

And yes I know I should've asked for pictures, I'm an idiot.

Mine have them, but I've seen recent models (last couple of years) without them.

They come with them. Fortunately for you, grivel sells them. If you're in the US, look at Liberty Mountain directly or have your local shop order them from them.

Do you know where? I've seen some Grivel ones online but they're kinda expensive ($40+)
