##**Guidelines**

**1.** **Submissions must directly relate to MHW**
> Topics that are not related to Monster Hunter: World will be removed.

**2.** **Use the Search Bar**
> Do not repost content that already exists on /r/MonsterHunterWorld. This also includes posting topics that have been discussed in the past. Please take the time to use the search bar if you have a question. It's likely it may have been asked before. Doing so drastically reduces clutter on the subreddit's feed. Submissions that violate this rule will be removed. Multiple violations will result in a temporary/permanent ban (depending on severity).

**3.** **Be Respectful. “Toxicity” Will NOT Be Tolerated!**

While we have no problem with disagreements/discussions, the following behavior will NOT be tolerated: Insults, inciting pointless arguments, trolling, hate speech, sexist remarks, discrimination, witch hunts against other members, etc. Posts that contain identifying info, including guesses at other party’s online/real ID’s, will also be removed and reported to reddit admins. Uncivil/toxic behavior of any kind will be removed at moderator discretion. Repeated offenses WILL result in a ban.

**4.** **Memes On Weekends Only**  
> The following content MAY ONLY BE POSTED ON WEEKENDS (Saturday (0000 hrs UTC)- Sunday (2359 hrs UTC): Memes, Carves & Quest Results, Kill Screens, Decorations, Minor Achievements (trophies), Crafted Equipment collections, Investigations, pictures of TV/Monitor Screens...etc  Blatant attempts at “Karma Farming” will be removed. Low effort content will be removed at Moderator discretion.

**5.** **Monetized Content/Self-Promotion**
> Asking for money,  donations, “social media follows”, or linking to "any online store/marketplace" are not allowed. Self-Promotion that is thoughtful and well received, may be posted, as long as it is not excessive. Live streams are not allowed without the express permission of the moderation team via modmail (Clips of YOUR content are OK). Self-promotion may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.

**6.**  **Relating to Game Mods and Cheating**
> Mods are allowed to be discussed and links are allowed to be posted. However, topics related to cheating/breaking the game's code may be removed upon moderator discretion.

**7.** **Spoilers**
> We do not allow unmarked Spoilers pertaining to story content in the title, body or comment section.

**8.** **LFG Posts**
> All LFG posts should be posted on /r/MonsterHunterClan, our partner subreddit, unless there is an event megathread that explicitly states that LFG is allowed inside that thread. Any LFG posts will be removed.

**9.** **Art Submissions Must Adhere to Specific Criteria**
> When you create an art submission, please post the following in the comments:

(a) Post is tagged as Art

(b) Artist’s name

(c) Link to source in thread

Also please abide by the following: Lewd art featuring some of the more scandalous armors like the female Odogaron, Kirin, and Nergigante are permitted when tagged NSFW. No posting of pornographic material. If you are unsure, contact us mods before posting. Posts failing to meet the above criteria will be removed at moderator discretion.

**10.** **Do Not Create Spam Posts/Comments**

> Please do not create spam posts/comments. Content of this nature will be removed by the moderators. Violations of this rule will result in a temporary ban. Continued violations after a temporary ban will result in a permanent ban.
