Excited to get out and camping again so I booked a site for gooseberry for May 3-5. Tons of sites still open for that weekend. Any reason why that might be? Every other campground on the north shore is full aside from backpack sites so it just seems strange that gooseberry has such open capacity.
Maybe gooseberry isn’t as sought after? I’m not sure honestly. Early May is sort of a weird time on the north shore. It could still snow, although probably not this year.
