It’s obviously the case that the MCU fell off in Phase 4, I’d probably say that it was starting to go downhill that way at the end of Phase 3 (Captain Marvel, Endgame, a little bit of Far From Home and a bit of Ragnarok). But I’m just wondering why that happened. There have been bad MCU films before but movies like Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World are a different type of bad to Multiverse of Madness, Love and Thunder, Quantumania etc. It’s like a switch just flipped, it’s not like Star Wars where there was a big gap between the prequels and the sequels or the DCEU, which was always bad, or Doctor Who, which can be attributed to the showrunner. It just plummeted. Was there some kind of internal change at Marvel to explain what happened or something?

I know 3 is the weakest of the trilogy, but damn do I love it still.
Monkey brain LIKE big lizard!
Jurassic Park 2 was worse than 3.
Is 3 not generally considered worse than 2?
2 is just weird and boring.
Jurassic Park 3 is a not great movie about a group of people trying to get off an island overrun by dinosaurs after they got stranded there because a couple of parents were desperate to find their kid.
Jurassic Park 2 is a not great movie about a group of people trying to get off an island overrun by dinosaurs after they were stranded there because their expedition to capture some of the dinos was sabotaged, and even though they go out of their way to rescue their saboteurs, the movie tries to pretend the saboteurs are the good guys.
