Honestly, I love it if you have the space.
That's a good picture. Looks like the 75 took out the edge characteristic of m43 sensors, but still plenty of sharpness left. I like that a lot.
The full res photo was incredibly sharp. It’s absolutely one of my favorites by far
Now I'm sad I sold my m43 gear before trying the 75 :D
You need a lot of space, to do something like that I was at least 15 feet away haha
I know what you mean. But that's the curse of the crop sensor. It is what it is.
I wouldn’t call it a curse, I had the same issue using a 135 on full frame back in the day. The more telephoto the more ya gotta back up haha.
If you have the space, i.E. shooting outside, the vintage Zuiko 2.8/180 is a beauty, and is my favorite of the bunch.
Oh wow! I have to check that one out.
What I mean is, to get the same feel as a 85mm on a full-frame, we have to use longer lenses like 150mm equivalent. And yes, if you use a long lens on a FF, you'd face the same challenge. :)
Btw, I've tried getting a similar (head-to-waist) framing on an APS-C camera using a 100mm lens (so basically same FoV as the 75mm on m43) and I was able to get it from about 10 feet away. It's actually not too bad.
I mean the one on reddit here is also incredibly sharp, but not too sharp, that's what I meant.
