Note: All playlists are automatically updated!
Therefore no use to ask for manual playlist additions.
Instead read up on how the system works and make a post in a relevant subreddit.
There's also a separate playlist system based on Twitter. With it's own set of dedicated playlists at: @reallistige
This is a complete list of all available Reddit based playlists, sorted by genre.
You make a post in a subreddit that's mentioned in the list above.
When making a post, a dash must be present in your post title.
The dash is used to separate the artist name and the track name.
Where the artist name is expected on the left side and it's track name on the right side of the dash:
Artist name - Track name
Your post is automatically to playlist added if:
- Post title format is: Artist name - Track name
- Post up votes are among the top 25 posts (linked in column "Playlist source").
- Post up votes matches "Post votes req." column above.
- Post age matches "Post age (in days) req." column above.
The r/Listige playlists works a little different from the other subreddit playlists.
As r/Listige accepts only link posts pointing to specific Spotify tracks.
Thus removing any expectations on the post title format.
Follow these steps to contribute to r/Listige specific playlists:
- Create a new link post in r/Listige.
- Set the post title to whatever.
- Set the post URL to a specific Spotify track. Meaning it must match the link format: https://open.spotify.com/TRACK/*
- If post URL does not match expected format then it will be automatically removed. See this YouTube instruction on how to share a specific Spotify track.
- Select ONE relevant playlist flair for the post.
- Finally click the "Post" button.
- Track will be automatically added in the next 24 hours as long as it the post has more than 0 upvotes AND the main artist is not already part of the playlist.
All these playlists rotates.
When a playlist reaches max number of tracks (usually 25), then every newly added track replaces the oldest one.
Mods of the subreddit needs to be ok with u/Listige making comments on the posts it adds to the playlist.
So that the members knows about the playlist & what's added to it.
Check with the mods of subreddit if this arrangement is ok.
Then ask them to contact r/Listige mods for consideration.
Playlist request might be denied if:
- Post title format (explained in this wiki) is not enforced.
- Not enough posts made on a weekly basis.
- Subreddit just recently made.
