I know someone who does this.
This person was successful in their career which was not working in a kitchen. They fell mentally ill and eventually lost their job at several places due to their behavior.
They now make BBQ and sell it out of their home and use social media for orders etc.
It is to say the least, less than regulated, less than professional and even unsafe.
So who is buying this stuff? People who are taking sympathy for this person? People who want a deal? Are the prices too good to pass up? How long before a law suit happens? Then what?

I've seen how people cook in a professional kitchen and I've seen how people cook at home. You tend to see the person who is not great when it comes to food safety in the kitchen become a fucking nightmare at home when there are no other eyes, no safety procedure and proper equipment.
