Loved this. It is ridiculous that “supporting Palestine” (in the way that anti-Israel activists want people to support Palestine) is considered a “progressive” position at all. Calling for nearly half of the world’s Jews to die, live under an imperial Islamic state, or “go back to where they came from” is not “progressive” in the slightest. It is absurd that the issue of Palestine has become the litmus test of who is or who isn’t progressive.
