A lot of those are not traditional jazz standards but pop songs played by many jazzmen.

I don't mean this in any negative way at all, but jazz standards to me are music that originally was played by traditional jazz groups or players like Moanin, Take Five, Kind of Blue, Song for My Father, Night in Tunisia, etc...
