These little guys crawled out from under my husband's car as I was taking out the rwcycling this morning.
Criminally SmolUnfortunately, no. We already have a ~7 year old cat who doesn't do well with others, and we have a 2.5 year old rat terrier who would love to massacre them since they'd be easier to catch than the lizards on the front step.
Are you able to help them and Mom Cat, OP? Here are some guides from Humane Society and Alleycat.org

Shout if you need some more resources to get these little criminals into a lifetime in jail a.k.a their forever homes
I plan to take them to a shelter today if I can't find them a new home. They're currently in a cat carrier on my bathroom counter because it's supposed to get pretty hot today.
I gave them a little dish of water and some treats, but I don't have any kitten food or wet food to give them, though they did go nuts for the Churu.
They look pretty healthy - did mom cat stash them there while she went to hunt or look for a new home? She might show up today looking for her lost littles.
Orange has ear mites, and Calico has something funky going on with her tail—either the tip has been broken, or she's got the same thing my childhood kitten had with a kink, but to an even greater degree since it's kinked in multiple spots.
Mom cat may have stashed them. They have been moved to the front porch with shade and some food and water for mom
Aw, thank you for looking after them OP inc. Mom. Try this for your local no-kill shelters https://network.bestfriends.org/no-kill-community-shelter-map
Pls try to get Mom to shelter too - at the very least they can spay her & hopefully put her up for adoption too
Many cats in eastern Asian countries (China, Japan, Thailand, etc) have kinked and/or short tail. it all came from their ancestor some 80 or so years ago that had the kinked gene.
If OP is not in the east Asian countries, then it may have been broken or something.
Not necessarily. I had a cat with that, years and decades ago (which feels odd to say). She was born with it, and I live in the US, so not east Asian.
I mean she might but it’s not going to give them a better shot to be feral
They're climbing the walls
Calico and Tortie have gone to their furrever homes
* I've set up a trap for mom. Hopefully she'll return.
Nicey baby fuzzies! I have a special soft spot for torties because when I was growing up we adopted a sweet long-haired tortie we called Prissy. I also have a fondness for mini-lions and toy size lions because we used to have a big orange house lion named Biggie (short for Mr. Bigglesworth). I don't think he'd ever heard of the brain cell, let alone got a chance to use it 😂, but he was a very nice boy.
I’m so sad that they couldn’t all stay together.
If it helps, cats don't feel the same type of emotional pain to be separated. Heck, most don't remember or care about their parents or siblings. My parents have 2 cats, 1 is the mother of the other and they don't act like they're related at all, in fact they're both old and usually just slightly irritate each other sometimes lol. One of my cats was a young mom (probably not even a year old) and her kittens were adopted out at the same rescue when we got her, she has never shown any sadness/missing them.
and usually just slightly irritate each other sometimes
So they DO know that they’re related
My mother and grandmother had the same relationship! 🤣😂😹🧁🙀
Oh stop. That protective little paw on the sibling! 😭😭😭😭
Like, "Noooo, you can't separate us!"
Too bad, the girls have a furrever home, and Orangeboi will soon.
Thank you so much for your successful efforts in finding them forever homes.
Awww, you're a good human to make sure these little ones found a furrever home 🐾❤️
Very civic-minded and environmentally conscious if they wished to help with the recycling.
Nah these are criminals. They were trying to steal the car when OP interrupted then.
You should have the car fixed so that it stops having more kittens
We don’t hear enough about unspayed and unneutered cars.
That’s what Bob Barker was trying to say but he misspoke the first time and just went with it for decades.
I knew it.
PSA for a few sharp knocks on the hood of your car before starting it up.
Many cats and kittens will climb under or into a car engine or wheel space if it gets rainy or chilly. When the car starts up, the cat gets killed, or injured.
Even if the cat survives, they're often inadvertently taken many miles from home- turning an outdoor cat or a neighborhood cat into a very lost cat.
Couple of sharp knuckle raps on the hood when you walk up to your car will give the cats a few seconds notice that something is about to happen, and time to escape.
CDS strikes again
Thanks for taking care of them 🫡
If you’re anywhere near AZ please DM me.
On the other side of the country, unfortunately
That’s okay. I really didn’t need a third cat anyway. Glad you’re finding homes for them all, I wish you luck and happiness.
Upstate NY perchance?
We’ve been talking about adding a little orange boy to the family.
N yes. Y no. NC
Shoot, worth a try.
Indeed
Momma is probably around still try getting in touch with a TNR to try to catch her too and prevent future delinquents from being made.
Mom is still around, as is Orangeboi for "bait." The lady who took the girls might also take Mom if i can figure out how to trap her.
Is there a reason they don’t want to keep the orange one together with his siblings? Not trying to judge, just have seen that kittens do a little better socializing when they’re raised with at least one other kitten around.
No. I don't know why they didn't take Orangeboi. I think it might be because he is a boy, but it may have been about coloring. I know kittens do better with a similarly-aged playmate, and I wanted her to take all three, but she didn't.
Yeah, bummer she wasn’t open to taking them all, but that’s great you only have to worry about finding a home for one now :) glad someone is interested in momma too
How come things like this can’t ever happen to me?
So dang cute!
The CDS has not seen fit to distribute under my car. Am quite disappointed.
Message from Cat Distribution System : Your order was delivered.
I thought these were little baby chicks. They are so small!
Why don’t these things ever happen to me?!?!
Oh no. They are so tiny. 💔
God bless u for taking the time and care! 🙏💗you’ll forever be rewarded on the other side for your kindness!
Wonder if Mim is nearby?
Mom definitely is. I've seen her, but I didn't have a trap on hand until about 8 hours after I first laid eyes on them. I had put out food and water for her next to her kittens, but she's too shy to try to go in the trap for the food, or she's decided that her son is safe and her daughters are gone so she can fluff off, her job is done.
Oh my God! Torties AND a ginger cat? Gorgeous 🥹💗
Oh! You have cats now.
