Relevant Info: I served in the military as an intelligence analyst. I am now out and studying full time at a university to get my computer science degree. I landed a job as a software analyst working on a program I used as an intelligence analyst. Just got sec+ certified as it was a requirement for my job. I am totally new to this world of IT.
Questions: - is there anything is the world of IT that I can combine my Intel experience with this current role to stay somewhat in the Intel field?
My college requires me to declare a concentration in CS. Options are cybersecurity, intelligence systems, and development. Being new to this world I’m unsure what jobs look like after with these options.
due to me being new to the IT world, I have no idea what I should know. I don’t know anything haha! (Passed sec+ first try but still don’t know how) What is some information I should be learning to help me get a general understanding of IT?
Thanks for any help!
