What temperature of water is the best?

I was trying to catch up to a podcast I like (Trash Taste), and they had an argument about whether ice cold water or room temperature water was better. Everyone in this sub can agree that water is amazing, but I'm wondering if we all agree that cold water is the best, or if there are people here who prefer room temperature water.

Here's the relevant clip from the podcast: https://youtu.be/WhgXLJbLqeQ

How do we feel about horchata?

I like making horchata by soaking rice, cinnamon, star anise and cloves in water overnight and then strain the solids out and pouring the water into a glass with ice and topping with ground cinnamon and nutmeg

Nothing cuts a sugar craving like sparkling water!Spicy water:Sparkling:

I'm so grateful with the multitudes of sparkling waters pretty much everywhere. Fighting a sugar craving is a real b*tch sometimes and nothing helps me like a can of flavored static.

Lots of gratitude for the positivity towards em!

Water threatment subreddit?

Hi all

About a year ago i came across some content about a subreddit and to an extent an entire subculture of people "tuning" their water with special filters and then adding minerals and such back in to make their perfect water. Some liked a super refreshing spring taste, others where chasing Perrier flavour.

But i cannot find what this subreddit or culture is called anymore and i want to revisit it and maybe get into this stuff. I hope someone here knows.

Just to clarify, it's not about adding like fruit flavours or something. just clear clean water tuned to perfection.

Arfid advice

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions to help keep my partner hydrated. They've developed arfid and it's beginning to affect their relationship with liquids as well as foods.

They get stuck on the taste of plain water, are put off by anything too sweet, and have trouble with tea, coffee, or broth because they get intrusive thoughts about how the liquid isn't [liquid] but actually [ingredient] mixed into water, and then it's gross to them.

When I can get them to drink, they'll get nauseous and then that puts them off liquids more.

Sodas are usually okay, but I worry about their teeth, and they can usually handle premade things because "if I buy it already made, my brain thinks of it as having always been that thing".

Has anyone dealt with something like this before or knows of cost-effective solutions to keep them consuming at least 80oz a day?

What’s a good Silicone boot for an Iron Flask 128oz (One Gallon) Water Bottle?

The base is 6.3in aka 160mm.

Summer’s here and I don’t want my big cup to get destroyed or destroy my desk.

Any recommended insulated bottles and tumblers that I can use with acidic and carbonated drinks?Classic water:Glass:

I was looking to buy some, but then I saw that half of them can't be used with acidic drinks if they are not ceramic coated, and then I saw that some of them use lead in their products.

So every brand I saw, it's not suitable, and I can't find anything.

Any help? I live in europe, so throw at me everything because probably half of the brands won't sell here.
