We will be in Athens in mid-July & thinking of doing the museum right after the acropolis tour at 8AM. The website says that reduced ticket is available only at the ticket window. Anyone know if there is a separate line for this or do we need to stand in the regular ticket line? I’m assuming the wait time for regular line is long?
Thanks! Won’t be worth €5 savings if it’s the same line.
I mean you can go there and check if the line is huge at the time you wanna go in and if it is, just buy your ticket online outside the museum. Thats what I done a couple years back.
That’s a good idea. I just assumed that the tickets will sell out in advance, since we’re going in the peak summer. But looking at the website now, doesn’t look like they sell out. Thanks for the advice!
From what I remember one line for everyone and usually its fairly long. Depends on the time of day and season you go however.
