While playing CSGO, my monitor goes black for a couple seconds, then comes back.

A couple of years back there was point where you had to do a firmware update for display port 1.3 or so. I think the 10xx generation needed that. (The updater will check whether or not you do)

I believe it fixes a different problem but you probably need it anyway so maybe start there.

To troubleshoot you could try to fuck with the DDC/CI settings on your monitor.

Happens to me too, but not in game. Is it in game for You?

Did this always happen? Have you tried completely reinstalling Windows?

I used to get this on my 1080 TI. Try rolling back to older gpu drivers.

Also have this happen, but not nearly as often

How old is your monitor?

I made sure it was connected right to the port and now its not problem. But since you already tried that I wish you good luck

Please check if it's when you receive a Steam message (New window opened) and or when you try to yourself open a new chat window (all other chats must be closed) If it's not try going to the CSGO.exe and then disabling Fullscreen optimization

I had similar issue which then forced me to format to fix it but now my sound is kinda fucked in cs. 10/10 btw

Make sure you have adaptive sync off in Nvidia settings. It could be listed as gsync vsync freesync or something like that.

Turning off G-SYNC fixed the issue for me.
