"What's up danger"
when godzilla remembers same jump in ebirah
This is one of my favorite parts in the movie since he's screaming at Kong who is in Egypt and Godzilla is in Gibraltar. They're on different continents.
Kong: “HEEEEEEEEEY!!”
Godzilla: “DAFUQ YOU WAAAAAAAANT??”
Bro coulda just walked 😭
He could've
But he didn't want to
No tsunami ?
Oh there was a tsunami! Pretty much that town, the next few towns,...hell, the southern part of that country and the next few got fucked.
There is. In the extended version, Godzilla shouts "FUCK YOU, GIBRALTAR", jumps and sinks the whole fucking city
Big G killed a few thousand people with that move.
There is one, the camera just conveniently cuts away right before it obliterates that poor town lol
I think evolved might be one of my favorite godzilla designs
I refuse to bealive the water so close to shore could accommodate a full fucking dive. Hed need like hundreds of feet
Google it, it is actually that deep lol
Yup, serious drop-off.
Did it a few weeks ago, and yep! Correct!
Rare moment of a Kaiju film being scientifically accurate
You also refuse to spell believe correctly, apparently.
🤓
Nerd is a compliment around here, you should go to Hollywood and audition to play a high school drama bully if you want to get a reaction out of that ruined Dr. Seuss word.
Really killed them with that one 😬
Ya know, I can't really think of a better diving board for him to use than the rock of Gibraltar
This whole sequence is great. Kong just wants some help and Goji wants nothing but smoke, winds up a kill shot and everything
Welp, that town is fucked
The little splash sound effect after the metric fuck ton weighing lizard jumps in kills me
we're getting so close to Godzilla Dropkick.
No way that water is deep enough
It is, look it up.
Idk where it is

Someone looked it up and the water depth at that point is abt 10-25 meters not sure why I’m getting downvoted
the straight of gibraltar ranges from 300 to 900 meters
I’m talking abt the exact point Godzilla jumped off at not the straight in its entirety
Godzilla 98 rip-off.....
I suppose the Rock of Gibraltar was one of the few good spots that Godzilla could use as a diving board.
