Somehow Trump is “the symbol of successful, White America”
Literally isn’t that what the judicial system is set up to do against black people?
No, that's a judicial system run by assholes and based on oppression.
Isn’t the whole 13 amendment thing because they wanted to enslave people legally?
The 13th Amendment is the one that makes it super-illegal to own slaves.
And they needed to specify people couldn't be enslaved because slavery had a long-standing tradition among Europeans and had gotten quite a bit worse since the invention of the cotton gin. So it was kinda grandfathered into our culture.
Well, 13th amendment has a clause that allows for slavery to be used as punishment for a crime.
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
So legalized slavery is still around, it’s just a part of the prison industrial complex.
No.
It's not revenge because they didn't do anything
Sorry. The revenge is for having the nerve to be free.
Yeah pretty much
Wanna explain or are you just acting stupid?
No.
They’re not acting.
Also, you can tell that this judge is a moron based on one picture? I wonder what it is about that picture that would lead them to this conclusion 🤔
“Anyone against Trump must be a moron… or any black person.”
Judge Simmons is presumed to be a moron for two reasons:
She's black
She's prosecuting Trump instead of granting him immediate extrajudicial immunity
Remember: People in power should be immune to power being exercised on them, that way they don't need to think things through. Laws are for people without power, to make sure they don't take power from the people who do have it. If that were allowed to happen, majority rule may occur, and thus power distributed among the people, which would be bad, because the people might put value in things beyond the circumstances of one's birth.
Right? What a silly doofus.
Yup, she went to law school to one day mess with a former president. You figured it out.
She went to law school to be an activist judge. And now that activism involves messing with said former president.
Well? Go ahead, explain what you think an "activist judge" means, don't be shy
Oh I know what he means!!!
Black!! He means black!!
"There are 2 races: white and political"
An activist judge is one that uses the bench for political action while ignoring law or common sense.Example : Abena Darkeh.
Amy Coney Barrett?
Brett “chip respawner” Kavanaugh??
The bench is explicitly for political action. The laws require interpretation and application. This is done by judges. Politics informs the law and the law is then applied and interpreted by judges. The judiciary is inherently political.
The judges interpret the law, and they decide what common sense is, not you.
So it’s not about the crimes these people committed… it’s about the judge advocating for… free and fair elections? Is the judge pictured here on record saying anything about this case?
So practically all judges were “activist judges” in the 1950s and earlier right?
Or is it not “political action” when you use sham trials to execute black people?
Shouldn’t all judges be activists against injustice?
Yeah isn’t it kinda in the job description that you will take action to right wrongs and apply justice where it’s needed?
What is an "Activist Judge"?
What does one study, specifically, to be an "Activist Judge"?
How does an "Activist Judge" enact "activism" by way of being a judge? (No, you cannot repeat your point of "Messing with said former president.)
Please elaborate in at least seven to ten sentences for all answers.
This guy doesn’t answer. He just trolls and then moves on to the next post.
That activism means being a judge over a case of fraud. Former president or not should not matter.
I can only begin to imagine how many times you've shrieked the words "kangaroo court" any time trump was involved.
activist judge. tell me- what activism has this judge been involved in prior to this case
I know Jack Posobiec is a known bigot, but who is Anthony Cumia.
He was a co-host of Opie and Anthony, one of the most popular talk radio shows in the world, from 1995 to 2014, until he was fired for being extremely racist on social media.
I remember now, the guys who tried to out-Howard Stern Howard Stern.
Yeah, everyone thought him being a shock jock was a bit, but turns out he was a piece of shit and the nice side of him was a bit.
He was physically attacked by a black woman and reacted with some very frank thoughts online. For which he was fired.
He was never attacked, and he himself was later arrested for assaulting his 28 years younger girlfriend. But tell yourself what you want.
He literally took a photo as he was being attacked, but “tell yourself what you want” 😂🤡
He’s a really funny and talented but sadly bigoted guy who was a massive radio star for 20 years, but since being fired and gone further and further down the rabbit hole.
Trump is the symbol of successful white America. He was given something that wasn't his (his dads money in this case) and tried to take even more with it and is trying to make everyone's life worse because people dare oppose him.
In other situations that formula was native land, black music, etc.
Also his success was mostly based on luck, theft, lies and general inhumanity.
What about actors?
What about them?
Maybe they did. Just look at all the cases of whitewashing in Hollywood.
Christian Bale as Moses
Scarlet Johansson as Makoto Kusanagi
Johnny Depp as Tonto
Gerard Butler as the Egyptian God Set
John Wayne as Ghengis Khan
Almost any depiction of Othello.
The list goes on, we’d be here all day.
I wouldn’t blame the actors though. It’s the producers that made the choice to cast people that were not ethnically/culturally/racially accurate. Usually they do so for the same reason: they don’t believe that audiences will want to see a movie that stars someone non-white.
They’re wrong, of course. People just want to see a good movie.
Maybe? But the answer as to why those producers did is actually an argument in favor of my point that people just want to see a good movie. If it’s done well, people won’t care. Hollywood need not limit itself to make profitable movies. I’d argue that getting more actors out in front of audiences is a good thing.
When you widen your focus, you enable yourself to find something truly special. It’s why having a more diverse student body for example actually raises the average GPA. You’re still picking from the best, just now your pool of students to choose from is wider.
That’s a good point actually. Hopefully you don’t think I’m racist and was just posing a question.
If conservatives see a Black judge and the first thought is that Black people are going to "take revenge" instead of "hold Trump responsible", it's so obvious what they actually believe the justice system should be used for.
And they know and agree that being in the racial majority can sway court rulings. Which means they know that having a judge and jury that is mostly white has an effect on the ruling of cases that involve minorities. But they won't admit it if you phrase it that way. Whatever...
Anthony Cumia is a pedophile
I knew he was a wife beater, but this one's new to me. What did he do?
He's so successful that his business has fallen to shit and the country he ran has become a divided mess. I guess they just couldn't handle his awesomeness.
Lol That's Anthony from the Opie and Anthony radio show, known racist and creep. Now he's an old irrelevant racist who preys on young women.
This guy is a pedophile and abuser
Wait…
I thought Trump had “street cred” now that he’s been arrested..?
And the sneakers?
I was told by MAGAs that means Trump has the support of the black community.
Successful white america = bankrupted casinos of all things
Go get em judge stevens!
Law student here. These racist republicans don't understand how serious being an attorney and, even more so, a judge, really is. She got to this position through extensive, difficult, hard work that she's not just going to throw away. She's bound to both the professional rules of conduct and judicial ethics. She can face serious disciplinary actions for judicial misconduct. Given the challenging nature of cases involving an extremely powerful and controversial defendant like Trump, she knows that she has to be all the more careful and impartial.
Literally making a judgement based purely on skin color
Trump is such a loser.
It the wise words of Jim Carey: “Stop breaking the law, asshole!”
Cumia is a bigot, a reactionary, and nobody respects him. He’s a fuckin joke. He just has money and some fans from his radio career so he sorta has a platform.
Lol that guy has bigger problems to deal with like all the lingering trauma from being bullied in high school for having Cum as a last name
Remember when Anthony Cumia hadn't pissed away all his good will? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
As an unsuccessful white American, I somewhat resent that.
Cumia really went off the deep end
Shame. Cumia used to be funny before he went full Racist POS.
"a society can't survive based on a judicial system run by morons and based on revenge"
Well why'd you vote for Trump then, goofy?
