Wanted to update my youngest sons data only plan to a phone and data plan only to find out Fido only pushes 2 options:
100 minutes talk time, unlimited texts w/250mb data for $15 bucks (customer service lady told me this was the "student deal")
Unlimited talk and text, 20gb data $39.99 (regular $44.99 but you get 5 dollars credit if you set up auto withdraw)
Asked if there was anything in between (6gb, 10gb, 12gb)... Nope, customer service just told me that was the only 2 options we had.... Oh but we're pre-approved for a credit card (she seemed very happy to try to sign us up for that).
It ridiculous that one option is barely usable and the other option is not affordable with no cheaper ones in available.
What's up with that Fido? You guys used to be great. Now you're trying to suck everyone dry.
