Didn't realise my server was set to open after the latest permissions change updates, out of nowhere a guy putting explosive barrells next to me, easy enough just alt f4.
Went back to my main base, all the stuffs gone :( is there any way to use cheats to spawn items back - I really cant be bothered farming the items back.
Edit: Managed to roll the world back with the help of some great guys on the discord, absolute legends!
Cool didnt realise there were backups, I think I've found them in my steam userdata - time to mess around untill I delete the right one
You have also found the way to duplicate items, assuming you lose them again. Just make a backup of the save file, log in and grab whatever you need, exit game, overwrite world save with the back up, and boom, everything you took is in your inventory and back in your chests as well.

It might be a bit hard, but such ppl should be perma banned from the game: Their Steam-Name is shown, so it can be tracked who's such a questionable subject, crying for fair punishment.

True. However - there are many businesses with "Gentlemen Acts", where distributors clearly state that certain behaviors are against certain asked for/required community standards and otherwise, bans would happen.
Yeah, but they (Keen) have no control over who can and can't go onto private servers, and Steam would never implement something like that, the manpower alone to verify and enact something like that for either company would be astounding... even if something like that COULD be proved to their satisfaction. Not to mention, as I said this is behavior on a completely private server, not related to Keen or Steam communities.
I mean griefing has been around since building games have been a thing, now I do agree it is annoying and a pain in the ass, but it is on the server owner to manage their permissions and add a password if they don't want randoms to join

Was considering this but I think ill try and roll-back the world first, if all else fails ill get the super server and just get the items from there
That guy has been doing this for a while, or maybe there is more assholes around like that who do exactly the same thing - happened to me too when I switched our server to Gportal and was still setting things up. Luckily I still got the save/world file on my computer cuz it got sent to me by our friend who previously hosted it.
Yeah go to the enshrouded discord. Look for world sharing and then find public resource world. Download that and then take what you want. Wemod also works

It's very easy to get in. Just find the info that is the ip address and port, then it's always saved at the top of your list

Right ?! Don't forget you can hit the crafting tables/npcs and make literally anything. It's better than trying to find the item in the chests somewhere.
Basic materials are only found in the chests.

Super bummed for you that that happened, the only suggestion I would have is to use a mod to get everything you want back, there are some mods listed in the official discord under the build showcase sections, I hope that helps in the slightest 🥲
Does anyone have experience with Fort Resource?
If you go to play online, shut off password protected servers, and you should see a server name with "Item Mall" in it. Someone has been reuploading their server with all items and buildable pieces in hundreds of chests with enough of everything to take what you need (absolute saint). Essenatially allowing "creative mode". Use this to get your stuff back.Â
Commenting in sympathy, did this once myself. I was level 3? ish at the time, didn't lose much but seriously, picking on newb characters is such a loser move.
