Hi, I just got my printer two days ago and I want to upgrade my build plate. I do want to put out there that I’m not new to 3-D printing. I have been a long time fan of flashforge printers. I want any recommendations for a new build plate that would work well with TPU and PLA. Thanks, in advance.

PEI. It’s almost fail proof.
Do you have any good brands that you recommend that make that type of build plate?

I was looking into that but all the ones I found were 235mm x 235mm. On the build plate that came with the printer it says 220mm x 220mm.
That's what I thought at first but the build plate is really 235x235. 220x220 is the build area and i used a ruler to exactly know the size.

Just make you sure you get those with the notches at the back otherwise those are the size
Comgrow is what I use for my Ender 3 and creality for my SE. Cheap and work great!
I use Comgrow. Double sided PEI and Textured.
