2 million in upgrades, yet the big screen doesn’t work. This is just embarrassing.
At first, it was a crappy slideshow, very glitchy, then it was the wrong aspect ratio- too zoomed in. And now we get this. lol.

Ugh and also the infrequency of service!!!
While I get what you're saying, I also ask why not use a different park and ride location?
Because there are no options from the south side. There are 4 official Park and Ride locations for Elks games: Eaux Claires, Lewis Farms, NAIT, and Naki.
With that being said I would check to see if any local bars do shuttles to elks games as I know a few do might be your best bet here. Anyways, I wish you luck
The Park in Ride game service is a wonderful perk with these events. It is funded by our civic taxes, in addition to some funds from the Elks corporation, and requires a lot of coordination in terms of OT for staff to work weekends (extra bus drivers, security, crowd control, etc.). In fact, ETS has a whole group dedicated to seevices like this.
In short, event PnRs are expensive and taxpayers are paying for it. While I appreciate your frustration over the reduced service, please take a look at the current state of our economy and numerous complaints about high taxes... then be thankful you can still afford to attend and enjoy a game. Though I love the games and PnR, I also want our precious taxes to go to broader services.
It's so they can overlay digital ads on the TV broadcast.
No it was like this for most of the first quarter lmao. Like it was actively broken.
I know, I was joking. In the NHL they added digital ads to the boards, ice, even the glass
And it is annoying AF. At least when they have the actively moving ads. Makes it tough to follow the action sometimes.
Found the person who hasn’t had the worst day at their job, yet
At least they aren't a tour guide for a haunted house.
CFL has really lost its charm
Agreed.
Did it ever get better?
Eventually improved, but all of the screens are v glitchy today in stafium
It’s the CFL. Lower your expectations.
That doesn’t mean you can be incompetent in a professional sports league.
It was done for a quarter and then they fixed it by the end. Chill.
90% of seats empty and of the 10% that are filled 90% are Rider fans. I hate to be pessimistic but I dont see how this team lasts much longer?
I’m sure if the weather wasn’t shit it would have been a lot busier.
Shitty weather and the Oilers playing in the Stanley Cup immediately after
I moved away from Edmonton in 2019. I went to every game for a few years whilst in town from the UK.
The stadium used to be packed, especially for Sask.
What’s happened?
A team that basically can’t win a game to save their lives happened
A couple decades of toxic behind the scenes slowly spilled out and eroded the love and passion of the staff, players and fans. I was on the field for 16 years. I stayed loyal for first years and was continually promised I’d be rewarded and was ultimately let go, after never being paid and what was owed always bumped to the next season, just after loosing my father and grandfather. I gave up almost everything to prove my worth and got kicked to the kerb in my darkest hour. My story is just one of many.
The CFL itself has been dying for a decade. If it isn’t dead yet, it’s never going to
The stadium was 10% filled? Holy Hyperbole Batman.
Well with the entire upper section empty it’s automatically 60% empty and a large majority of seats in the lower bowl were also empty, so not really.
They’re doing their best!
I'm more pissed about Davies Park and Ride Busses not being a thing anymore and the LRTs being packed to a point the doors were struggling to close. What used to be a comfortable bus ride has become a stressful 2 LRT rides.
