Ruinous Powers Deck

I bought the precon with the intention to build [[Be'lakor]] demon tribal and it's been incredibly fun. Here's my list, although it's currently in the process of being rebuilt into more of a reanimator strategy.

Yea I disassembled it cause it felt unfocused and often would fizzle out, it’s full of cool cards and Abaddon is cool for a cascade deck but the precon definitely needs some tweaking

Abaddon is sweet. You can do some degenerate things with him too. He can crack his own [[Doomsday]] pile to win fairly fast, or you can cascade into value pieces and try and overwhelm the table.

I found the precon fun vs the other 40k decks but one of the weaker ones due to it being really unfocused. I took it apart and built a cascade/group slug deck around Abaddon and it's a fun once a night deck for the table as it definitely speeds up the game but is too random to win consistently. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ahND_r1Yr0OR2Ly_c1O55Q

Ruinous is my first and only deck. I found it lacking identity so i've been having blast tinkering around with it. I moved from group slug to targeted burn to do not liking the feeling of attracting too much attention and being able to focus down a single threatening opponent or creature.

If you want consistency you could try making a top deck version of Abaddon where you ensure you're cascading into cards you want (have yet to try this).

This is hilarious to me as a 40K fan because it’s so lore accurate. They should have just included a Fulgrim card that fucks off to a different game while they were at it.
