Has anyone visited/spent time in a city that feels like Denver’s art scene, but is warmer, preferably year round? Non US suggestions okay too.
My sister lives in Denver and so I’ve visited a few times. I really love it there and would love to move there! I’m really into art (making, looking at, learning about, and buying if I can afford it). I loveeee how art focused Denver is, that there are tons of great museums and galleries and art clubs, and that I can pretty much find a last minute art class or event any day of the week. Especially that there are tons of affordable options, versus in New York City, where I lived for almost a decade, these classes are indeed numerous, but very limited in size, expensive, and quite far from each other, and it still gets pretty cold most of the year. I also love that Denver doesn’t seem to be super big into drinking culture & that there’s lots of other chill stuff to do instead.
My problem is I currently live in Miami, and have a small lovebird I like to put in a backpack and take for walks. I fear the Denver cold would be unbearable for her. Does anywhere else in the world feel the same but warmer to you?
