Great collection. However, a lot of these articles seem to imply that 白酒 is, on the whole, vile stuff. And maybe it is often the case. But I don't think it's the case the majority of the time, at least in my experience.
That said, it doesn't take much in an evening for me to feel the burn in my esophagus for much of the next day. Nonetheless, I've generally had a pleasant time consuming baijiu.
Me too. It seems like there's been lots of articles lately that demonize it a little more than it deserves. I usually don't mind it too much, and after the first few sips it's pretty smooth.
