My husband picked this up for me but we’re not sure if it’s gluten free. I’ll try to contact the company but not sure if I’ll have good luck hearing from them.

I'm always iffy with unlabelled starches, like the "modified starch". A lot of dissolvable or chewable things can have hidden gluten so I avoid them unless labelled explicitly. I find that Kroger brand capsules are usually labelled well though!
ETA just noticed their just flavored tablets, but still stands since coatings definitely can have gluten!
Wouldn't wheat in modified starch need to be labeled in the US?
Nope! Not for drugs, just food. It's incredibly stupid and need to be changed for sure. Also, cross contamination in starches is a possibility as well, so even if it is a corn starch or something there's a chance it could be made on shared lines, which wouldn't necessarily have to be labelled on food anyway.
