Capitalism really does perpetuate the trauma, doesn’t it?

There's a reason why Complex PTSD isn't an official diagnosis in the U.S.
This whole place runs on exploitation and abuse.
Facts. Once you can start to label the dysfunctional dynamics, you can call them out all over the place. Every workplace I've been in uses at least some of the abuse dynamics that were normalized in my family/culture of origin.
Layoffs are group punishment for not pleasing the shareholders.
Quarterly profit is the bane of humanity.
Our systems are designed around quarterly profit (read exploitation) rather than meeting human needs. It's so short sighted I could scream.
When we meet our human needs, our productivity goes up and you end up spending less in the long term.
We could innovate our way to a better way of life, but robber barrons keep holding us back.
It doesn't help that the brainwashing and propaganda is so effective the slaves keep each other in line, just like a toxic family system. Build a mental cage and most people can't think their way out of it, in fact, they'll help reinforce it and perpetuate it.

this is the truth. in a way having cptsd was like breaking though the matrix, but now how tf do we survive?
My SO and I have had enough privilege and luck to create a bubble of safety for ourselves. We're trying to get stabilized enough so we can work on lifting others up.
Healing is revolution. The more of us that heal, the more we'll be able to shift the toxic systems we're entrenched in.
That's awesome - I hope to do this also.
the expectation of never ending profitable growth is killing us
