E: for those unaware, the Missouri River is the border for Iowa and Nebraska. Except for Carter Lake, IA, which is on the Nebraska side of the river.

E2: I should clarify I do know how it happened (river changed course), but I still think it’s dumb..lol. You’d think sometime since that happened, the states would have gotten together and agreed to sell it to Nebraska.
