Kawaki is finally getting hated on by the fandom for his recent behaviour despite his horrible upbringing which is fair because the fact that he’s still this far gone even though his childhood was awful shows a lack of development.
But why don’t people hold others (especially eida) to this standard. I’m sorry but she’s seen as a decent character despite everything she did because “she wanted to be loved” which is such a weak excuse for what she was originally planning with code she was 16 at the time and should’ve known better. Now that she realises kawaki doesn’t love her (obviously) she’s redeemed? Is it because people are simping for her irl ?
Also amado wanting to bring his daughter back doesn’t change the fact that he was complicit in the murder of countless children with jigen for isshiki to plant his karma. I’m aware that his story has a lot of mystery surrounding it but still.
