Anyone has a blog of less than one year and is already making money?
QuestionThat's a good start. Better than most people. I think affiliate earnings are the way to go. Much better than AdSense. I won't bother with AdSense for my latest blog.
Yep, I wasn't expecting that either to be honest, I thought it will take a whole lot more time.
Is that because the earnings are so low?
Yes. The last a few times I added AdSense, it was a bit pointless. Last time I was getting around $5 for 1,000 views.
60 articles since the start of the year! Sick man, kudos.
I only have like 21 article since 2021 lol
I'm 7 months in, no money yet. Still slowly building traction. I'm going through the arduous task of re-writing a lot of my older articles that weren't detailed enough. Got a goal to start monetizing in the next month or so. Keep going and keep writing!
Blogging is not a easy nowadays. There is no any guarantee of success.
Not as easy as it used to be but still worthwhile for those that have the skills and experience to make it work.
Not being easy is a good thing because it means less competition.

My earnings didn’t change, if anything they went up slightly and I’ve not changed anything except publishing a new article every 10 days or so. Don’t make sweeping statements on behalf of everyone 😄
I've been blogging on and off for maybe 15 years.
It's simply not true that all bloggers earnings went to zero. There are bloggers earning over $10,000 a month from their blogs. Not all blogs lost traffic. If some sites dropped down the Google rankings, it means other sites rose. The sites that have better rankings must be making more money. Some of my old blogs that I sold are still ranking very well.
Is there any more way easier than writing blogs for someone who want to make money online?
I mean in general situation.
Just curious.
Yes, selling a niche product with a good margin to a niche market/audience.
Blogging is long-term. I very highly doubt it works within 5 months, since it takes already 6 months for the domain getting authority on Google.
I started 5 days ago. 11 of 15 posts already indexed on Google. I'm hopefully of making money soon. I will use affiliate links. I don't plan on using AdSense for this site.
I started a newsletter/blog on beehiiv about 9 months ago and have been able to make around $48-$55 per month these last 4 months through sponsored newsletters from the beehiiv ad network. With that said, I've had a blog since 2019 and it wasn't until 2021 that it started to really make real money and last two years it's generated $67k (2022) and $74k (2023.) Blogging takes time, patience, a lot of hard work and trial and error.
What are your income sources for the blog you started in 2019?
It’s about 70% affiliate partners, 15% sponsored posts and 5% ad networks.
I have my blog tied in with my consultancy services so there's some income coming in that way but if that was out of scope, I've made about €100 from Buy Me A Coffee contributions from some of my useful posts. Mainly from one post about DLP that is somehow the top result the last while in Google Search. Not sure if I'm allowed to link to my blog here as it might be a self promotion but if anyone wants to know what it is let me know.
Started 16 months ago and am at $80 total from Adsense. Looking forward to hitting the $100 cash out minimum to make it real
I started mine a month ago, no money yet. But I have noticed the more articles I post (600 - 1500 words) the more traffic comes to my site. It has to be consistent, but I'm so fresh maybe someone else can chime in and correct me on this.
I started a new tech-related blog on 01/01/2024, and since then, I've made 1.76 euros from Google AdSense, $200 from winning the affiliate contest for Rank Math SEO plugin, and another 180 euros from Impact Affiliate Network (both were registrations in Shopify). I've only published around 60 articles since I started it, but giving it all I've got. I don't think a blog can make lots of money within a year, but if you write high-quality content and use affiliate links, I don't see any reason not to make any money at all - or at least, pay for your hosting and domain.
