I've Got A Going Away Present For You! 🎁😏
It’s like the word cringe was invented in that very scene.
Super-cringe, and uncomfortable to watch tbh
Good god this was awful at the time and now it’s even worse
“Ta-daaaaaa!” 🤣🤣 this will always win for me as cringiest scene ever.
😬😬😬😬😬😬😬 I would crawl under a rock.
What a terrible fuckfit too!! Like, zhuzh yourself up a lil more, Uuaaahhn.
Not sure if anyone watches "Euphoria", but if Andrea had pulled a Cassie on that carousel, the trajectory of the show would have been totally different.
I’ve been thinking lately about how euphoria is a hyper-warped version of 90210!
Absolutely! Euphoria is the closest to 90210 as Gen Z will get
I’ve never watched Euphoria but 90210 deserves so much credit for how it influenced future shows.
Omg I'm dying at the visual of ahhhhhhhndrea pulling a Cassie on the carousel 😂
“I’m your reward for living here for a year. Congratulations.”
If they went through with it and then found out he was staying it would have totally changed the "it's never going to happen" dynamic with those two. Andrea stopped being an option in season 2. I didn't even believe that she wanted Brandon when she was supposed to be jealous and Brandon already had her in the permanent friend zone. By season 3 she was Mother Andrea and her make out session with Brandon was so forced, wrong and unbelievable. For the sake of the show and the drama that could have came out of it they should have done it. If ppl like us were allowed to get in on the writing the show would have been so much better.
I remembered this instantly and chose not to unmute it. Just watching it made me uncomfortable. I give props to Gabrielle for crushing that scene and making Andreas awkwardness sooo believeable
the horse?
Brandon: "🎠?"
Me Everytime: 💀
Imagine offering a guy that has repeatedly shown he’s not interested and firmly has you in the friend zone your virginity 🙃
I used to always think Andrea was pretty… but I remember watching the scene and thinking to myself… girl, What is wrong with you? That is not the way you go about it!
I hate when people make a situation awkward like that.
In season 1 i think Andrea was the prettiest of the women in the show.
About as painful as itching your ear with a finger that has a hang nail
The “if you’ll take her line” 💀 iirc Brandon and Ondrea also had a near miss at the senior prom thankfully. I just watched the “ dark side of the 90s” episode on “teen tv” I couldn’t help but think about how dirty they did Gabrielle she was absolutely gorgeous Just a couple years after this she was playing the love interest of David charvert and Susan lucci foil , other then the dated hair\ clothes She’s one of the 1990s great beauties in my opinion
"The person ON the horse"
"The panda bear?"
Andrea 5 minutes later: “Goddamnit, I can’t even give it away!”
Shut Up Andrea !
This was so unhinged and thirsty. I remember cringing 😬.
I can’t even watch this scene it’s so cringe. I always change the channel when it comes on.
I can’t watch this scene
"I'm giving you my puss as a going away present!"
I’m glad that this was on a TV Show rather than something I had done in high school.
It’s my favorite thing that so many people are triggered by this. This show sure does affect people. 😂😂😂 I love the Brandon being oblivious jokes though. “The carousel? The horse? What?” Haha Am I the only one who finds this storyline great and iconic?
Oh good heavens that was cringey lmao
Brandon is so clueless (or at least acts clueless)
this is truly one of the very few times that you see The Walsh be oblivious 🤣
Omg I can’t with this scene. It’s painful.
Brandon you idiot! She wants to wrestle!
I know there would be in no point of the show anymore. But when I see that episode, I always wonder what would’ve happened if the Walsh’s had actually moved away.
-Would Kelly and Dylan still gotten together, although earlier?
-Would Andrea actually have gone to the Ivy League, changing the whole direction of her life? Because it does seem like getting semi in with that crowd, long term, changed her priorities some.
-Would Steve have never gotten it together? As Brandon wouldn’t have been there any longer as the voice of reason.
Serious second hand embarrassment
Him pondering on it should have told her how he views her.
nah, that shows just how important he views the situation of what he was asked of from a friend. folks like to giggle at the "cringe" of it, but fail to see the guts & courage that she had to muster up, & how much she trusts him, to even ask.
Yeah I think it’s a cool scene just not the way it was written with I’m giving you the person on the horse.
😬😬😬
And it’s a big one!!!!!
OMG this is so cringe. Andrea pretending she would even enjoy sex given how uptight and pedantic she is and then of course backing out at the last minute. Whereas rewatching the show I have warmed up to some characters I did not pay attention as a teen I find Andrea more cringe everytime I rewatch.
As a 14 year old virgin watching this, I remember thinking EW what a gift
Such a bait and switch.
If he really did leave, the going away present would be that she wouldn't be cow-eyeing him anymore...but I sort of think he enjoyed it when it didn't annoy him.
Also--I think it would have been a marvelous story line to have them sleep together and THEN find out that the Walshes wouldn't be leaving because she would want a relationship, and he'd want to ditch her.
Oh no…
Poor Uuuhndrea. That was next-level cringe 🥴
