Drill Press Question

Not trying to hijack you at all, but have you considered using a chisel? Ive never used one of those drill press mortising gadgets before but just want to offer up a different foolproof solution.

Depending on the job you’re trying to do, a good accurate layout of your lines and a sharp chisel would work great. And it’s actually a lot of fun.
