If you have a piece of equipment with a flat surface, you can stick a mirror sticker on it. This way, you get a decently sized mirror at almost no extra weight.

I used the case of my e-reader. As you can see, over time it has developed some dents, but they don't matter at all when you're close up. And it's actually clearer than many plastic travel mirrors.
