I rewatched TWOW, and it’s such a masterpiece. Every time I’ve watched it, I’ve noted how Pandora is now apparently essential to humanity’s survival, which presumably means they’ll never stop sending armies to Pandora until one side is completely dead. Do you think the Na’vi might eventually take the fight all the way back to Earth to stop the endless attacks? It would be cool to see an alien invasion movie where the aliens are actually the good guys, and it would be super interesting to see Jake back on his home planet as an alien invader.
Do you think the Na’vi will eventually take the fight on the offensive back to Earth?
DiscussionThe "Fight" on Earth should be to rally humans to oppose the RDA. I do not see the Na'vi taking an "offensive" part in such actions, though Jake/family may eventually meet up to lend assistance in that manner.
I feel like that would be much harder for the Navi to achieve
Unlike today where if you post one thing, thousands if not millions of people would find out about it. But since it’s a global network it’s very easy to get information quickly. Where as pandora is light years away, with communication taking that long to be processed. So if the Navi want the humans on earth to rally for them they need to find a way to overcome that obstacle

Intersectionality is the answer here. The Na'vi don't need to "rally", humanity does. Supporting the Na'vi in their struggle benefits humanity in their struggle against the RDA/Capitalism. Common cause between the two is the only path towards liberation.
That won’t work though without a proper form of communication.
Which is where human aspects on Pandora taking action enter in. Like, as a direction for a franchise the solution coming from "both sides of humanity, those on Pandora and those on Earth" is really how the Na'vi "take the fight to Earth". Actually "victory" against the RDA will come from humans stepping up (squints at Jake being the model for this) and acting in radical support.
Even with limited communication, there has to be some level of "agitation" on Earth. "Limited-Canon" still kind of holds that there were/are protests on Earth against the RDA's actions. Taking the fight to Earth means expanding those movements.
It will be interesting to see if Cameron leans into this considering...real world events and protests.
