Travel is great for myself personally and for a lot of people, but it isn't for everyone, isn't always the answer and shouldn't always be prioritised above all else.

Whenever a person asks for financial advice or opinions that are in their 20s it's just DUDE TRAVEL with not even any care or balance, a lot of the posts even say that they are not interested and looking for investment advice etc. for a financially minded sub it is actually pretty reckless a lot of the time

It is also very predictable, you have 100% certainty any post by a young person will have Flight Centre agents in the comments telling them to travel.

Again travel is great but it's often very overrated and rose tinted glasses, especially living in an already hyper connected, multicultural and globalised post COVID world - it's very different to 20 or even 10 years ago. I've had some great trips but also a lot that were a complete waste of time and money and if I could get that money back and in my bank account I 100% would.

I hope I am not the only one who is bothered by this DUDE TRAVEL advice, it is almost becoming a meme and is not helpful or even useful advice if someone has specifically called out that is not what they're looking to do.
