Absolutely this. I do always recommend getting into the queue by making a request but Lasagna Love is not an emergency food source because wait times can vary a lot. We only match once a week, and many volunteers work full time and thus aim for weekend deliveries. So even if you requested on day 1 and lucked out that we could match you day 2, you still might not get it til day 5 or 6.

We typically advise to expect at least a 4-6 week timeframe, longer if you have special dietary needs like veganism or gluten free. It can be faster for sure, but it’s factor dependent.

I mean I used it and got my dish the following day? I'm in Alaska. I don't know how it is doing other places but everyone I've suggested it to as of late has been able to be helped. I hope the same is for OP
