I’ve just gone on a quick drive and almost crashed. Why’s that you may ask? Did somebody pull out on me? No. Did somebody run in the road? No. Did my car go into lane assist and almost hit a parked car? Yes and it’s not the first time.
Every single time I get into my car I switch it off as soon as I turn on my engine. Sometimes however I forget or try to give it a second chance and every time I remember why I switch it off straight away. I truly believes it’s a useless feature and while could be life saving, yes, if somebody is relying on it they should not be driving.
Are there any other safety features you can think of which are extremely useless or even dangerous?
