So I’m going to be renting out one of my parking spaces to another person who currently has her vehicle suspended for about 4 month. I’m assuming it shouldn’t cause an issue but a friend of mine told me that he let one of his neighbors park an unplated car in his driveway and he received a violation for it. He is in Bayside for reference and I am in Flushing. Not sure if the rules might be different.
Anyone know if it is legal to park a car without a licensed plate on private property in Flushing?
Should be fine. Operating a vehicle without a plate/registration/license is where the rules matter I would think. But I don’t see how an argument can’t be made that a car on private property being stored there and isn’t being operated doesn’t need valid documentation so long as it’s not stolen.
