I am showing some first-time visitors around the city. They want to try “the best deli in town”. We only have time to visit one. Which should I choose?
Note: Canter’s is out of the question. Very mid. Overrated.

I am voting Langers. By far.
I think it's straight up wrong to say it's better "by far". Brent's is awesome.
That said, I'm much more likely to take a tourist to Langer's because it's a more convenient location.
I suppose Langer’s is in a more convenient location because it’s not deep in the valley… but Langer’s location is still shit. Last time I brought my out-of-town family there, we parked in the Langer’s parking lot and between the lot and the restaurant we encountered a person openly smoking something from a crack pipe. The lot is down the street, about a half block from the restaurant.
While we were in there waiting on our food, a crazy woman wandered in and started shouting at another patron, threatening him etc. Cops were called and she was arrested
It was an eventful meal but I won’t be going back anytime soon.
Daughter’s Deli is just as good IMO, and in a far better part of town. They have their own parking lot and it’s owned by a Langer daughter.
