If somebody has to build a career in AI, specifically a person who is not from a coding background. How should one go about it and please share sources of certifications one should do to start building their career in AI from scratch. Thanks in advance.
well you could start by learning to effectively search the forums you go on. just a helpful tip, if you cant do that I wouldnt even bother learning what an API is or what the fuck snakes have got to do with AI
🤣🤣🤣
Are you an absolute beginner?
Try this for theory: https://promptbase.com/bundle/become-artificial-intelligence-expert, and try this for coding: https://promptbase.com/prompt/data-wizard-secrets
Here is one more for coding: https://promptbase.com/bundle/time-series-forecasting
I wrote this one for beginners, so could be a good place to start: https://promptbase.com/prompt/interactive-machine-learning
If you already can manage all of this, and would like to focus on more specialized expert topics (by your choice): https://promptbase.com/bundle/expert-prompts-for-gpt4-teams
Ask AI.
To really put this in perspective, you have to think outside of the normal path of careers.
In 10 years, there won't be any.
Then ?
Anything from subjugation by those who wield AI against us (to include mass extermination), to a utopian existence where we all drive Lamborghinis and have big expensive houses and eat the finest foods and make ourselves better people.
My career has only benefited from the use of AI tools so far, I intend on using that to support my family
Don’t bother with the coding side. Go into the business/sales stuff
Get a university degree in math/CS/stats. No way anyone is going to hire you without one. The field is competitive (there have been mass layoffs in tech in case you hadn't noticed it) and all your peers will have at least a relevant bachelor's if not a postgraduate degree. If you count working as a product owner/business manager/sales etc on AI related projects its a whole different story. But then you're not really working on AI.
Why do you think there will be a career in AI?
Once AI is better than us, your not needed.
It’s full of AI courses out there: just try one of them, some are pretty good and really cheap, but I still have the feeling that experience and practice are better… So, while doing some theoretical courses, play with it, use AI tools, try to build your thing, try to apply it for your job/studies, etc
First, try to get better at searching the forums you visit. It's a useful skill. If you can't do that, then you probably shouldn't waste time learning about APIs or how snakes relate to AI.
Instead, focus on the business and sales aspects. They might be more suited to your strengths.
Probably not gonna happen for you
This is not helpful or necessary my dude.
Sorry I just found it kind of offensive that not even the barest minimum of effort was put in by someone who is ostensibly asking about a career change
You got OFFENDED!?! That'd sad and ridiculous.
That is a YOU problem my friend.
Relax bud— not that serious— take the rare internet apology and use it in good health
I'm relaxed, you are the guy getting offended by strangers asking questions on a sub where we are supposed to ask and answer questions.
I think its funny.
Sick
why does there always need to be a meanie like you :'(
